For the past few days, residents and visitors of the city could enjoy an extraordinary spectacle – over 50 balloons of various shapes and colors have been rising into the sky as part of the 34th Enea Leszno Balloon Cup, featuring crews from Poland and abroad.
In the air, spectators can see both classic sport balloons competing for the Polish Cup and whimsical fiesta balloons, which add a playful and lighthearted element to the event. The Leszno Balloon Cup is organized by the Leszno Balloon Club in cooperation with the Polish Balloon Association.
Morning and evening launches have amazed the local audience, while the pilots’ competition has captured the attention of the entire city. Some admire the precision of the sporting contests, while others simply enjoy the vibrant colors floating over rooftops and fields. It is this diversity – from competitive flights to spectacular displays – that makes the Leszno Cup such a remarkable event.
The Leszno Balloon Night marks the culmination of the Leszno Cup. Dozens of balloons, combined with lighting effects, pyrotechnics, and aerial displays, create an exceptionally spectacular show.
We invite you to explore the Family News Service photo gallery, featuring images taken from both the balloon baskets and the ground.
