Another edition of the „Parcel for a Toddler” campaign of the Little Feet Foundation is underway. Specially marked Christmas trees can be found in various locations throughout Poland, where people may donate personal care items for children, household products, and toys. The donated items include washing powders, liquids, creams, shampoos, olives, diapers, and soaps. They will go to orphanages and homes for single mothers.

„Parcel for a Toddler” has been organized since 2013,” Fr. Tomasz Kancelarczyk, president of the Little Feet Foundation, informs and invites us to participate in this year’s edition.

„The campaign works as follows: an action coordinator signs up at www.paczuszkadlamaluszka.pl and puts up a Christmas tree. They hang symbolic cardboard baubles on the tree, which are then taken by kind-hearted people who donate items in return. The campaign coordinator collects these items and takes them to a chosen location. Last year, those Christmas trees stood in nearly 2,000 places: schools, churches, workplaces, and service points. The most significant thing is that this Christmas tree filled with kindness remains in our hearts,” Fr. Kancelarczyk stresses.

The beneficiaries of the campaign are orphanages, young children’s homes, single mothers’ homes, and hospices. The gifts also go to mothers in difficult circumstances, expecting the birth of a child, and persons with children whom the Little Feet Foundation already assists. Last year, gifts worth more than 13 million zlotys were collected. The campaign is organized in schools, work or service establishments, and parishes. It can be carried out within your family or community, both in person or virtually.
